Overview
Who we are and the principles behind this policy.
sarthakarsul.in is an independent software platform that provides browser-based utilities, informational content, and related digital experiences. This policy explains how information may be collected, processed, used, disclosed, protected, and retained when you interact with the platform.
Our approach is based on data minimization, transparency, security, and user control. We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the platform, respond to users, protect the service, and improve the experience.
Individual tools may have different technical requirements. When a tool needs processing that differs from the general practices described here, the relevant tool page should provide additional information.
Information We Collect
Information you provide and limited technical data generated through use.
The types of information processed depend on how you use the platform. We distinguish between information you intentionally submit and technical information automatically handled by normal website infrastructure.
Personal information
A name or other identifying details you choose to include when contacting us or requesting support.
Email and contact forms
Your email address, message, and any supporting information you voluntarily submit through the Contact page.
Device and browser information
Browser type, operating system, device category, language, display properties, and similar compatibility information.
Usage and log data
Requested pages, timestamps, referral information, general interactions, error events, and performance data.
Web servers, hosting providers, content delivery networks, and security systems may automatically process an IP address and request metadata to deliver content, detect abuse, maintain reliability, and protect infrastructure.
How We Use Information
The operational purposes for which information may be processed.
We use information only for legitimate platform, support, security, legal, and improvement purposes. Depending on the interaction, those purposes may include:
- Communication: responding to messages, inquiries, feedback, or requests.
- Support: diagnosing reported issues and helping users understand platform behavior.
- Security: identifying abuse, malicious activity, unauthorized access, or infrastructure threats.
- Service improvement: understanding errors, compatibility problems, and general usage patterns.
- Analytics: measuring broad trends and evaluating whether content and features are useful.
- Fraud prevention and compliance: protecting users, enforcing applicable terms, and meeting legal obligations.
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and operational requirements.
Analytics
General measurement used to understand and improve the platform.
We may use analytics services, including services such as Google Analytics or privacy-focused alternatives, to understand broad usage patterns. Analytics may process information such as approximate location, device category, browser type, referral source, viewed pages, interaction events, and session timing.
Analytics information is used to identify popular content, improve navigation, diagnose errors, understand device support, and evaluate platform performance. We do not use analytics to read the content you enter into a browser-based tool unless the tool clearly states otherwise.
Available opt-out controls depend on the analytics provider, browser settings, and applicable consent requirements.
Micro Tools Data Processing
How text, values, files, and other inputs may be handled by platform utilities.
Many micro tools are designed to perform compatible processing directly in your browser. In those cases, entered text, values, or files remain on your device for the transformation or calculation and do not need to be submitted to a tool-specific server endpoint.
Some tasks may require temporary server-side processing or an external API because browser-only processing is not practical. When external processing is required, only the information reasonably necessary to complete the requested operation should be transmitted.
File Upload & Processing Policy
What happens when a utility accepts a document, image, or other file.
Where a tool supports local processing, selected files are read by browser APIs and remain on your device. Selecting a local file does not automatically mean the file is uploaded.
If a feature requires server-side or third-party processing, the file may be transmitted temporarily to complete the requested task. Such files are not intended to be stored permanently unless the feature clearly states otherwise.
- Temporary processing: files are retained only for the time reasonably needed to perform the operation where applicable.
- Deletion: temporary processing files are deleted after completion or expiration of the operational window wherever applicable.
- No routine inspection: uploaded files are not manually reviewed as part of ordinary automated processing.
- No unnecessary retention: files are not kept for unrelated purposes unless clearly disclosed or legally required.
Limited access may occur when reasonably necessary to investigate a support request, prevent abuse, address a security incident, or comply with a valid legal obligation. Avoid uploading confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive material unless the tool explicitly supports that use.
Third-Party Services
External providers that may support infrastructure and optional features.
We may rely on third-party providers to operate, secure, deliver, measure, communicate about, or support the platform. The specific providers used may change as the platform evolves.
Third-party providers have their own privacy policies, terms, retention practices, and security controls. Information shared with a provider is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures used to reduce risk.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the platform and the information involved. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but security is treated as an ongoing operational responsibility.
HTTPS transport
Supported connections use HTTPS to protect information while it travels between your browser and the website.
Infrastructure protection
Hosting, firewall, traffic filtering, monitoring, and security services may help identify and block abuse.
Limited access
Administrative access should be limited to authorized purposes such as operation, support, security, and compliance.
Monitoring and maintenance
Software, dependencies, logs, and operational controls may be reviewed and updated to address identified risks.
Your Privacy Rights
Choices that may be available depending on your location and applicable law.
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information associated with you. These rights can vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to verification, exceptions, and reasonable limitations.
- Access: request information about personal data associated with you.
- Correction: request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected.
- Deletion: request deletion where the information is no longer required or another legal basis does not apply.
- Objection or restriction: object to or request limits on certain processing where applicable.
- Data portability: request eligible information in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
We may request information needed to verify your identity before responding. Certain records may be retained when necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational requirements.
Children's Privacy
The platform is intended for a general audience and is not directed to young children.
sarthakarsul.in is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through the platform, please contact us. We will review the request and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
Policy Updates
How changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated.
This policy may be updated as the platform, legal requirements, infrastructure, providers, or data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page, and the “Last updated” information will be revised when material changes are published.
Where required by applicable law, additional notice or consent may be provided before a material change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after an update is subject to the revised policy.
